The Reel Review

In the early 1980s a group of London gay activists took it upon themselves to raise money for striking miners in Southern Wales. This film, about that seemingly unlikely alliance, never quite achieves a satisfying climax, although it has loads of heart and some truly charming moments. Predictable fish out of water moments aside, it is worth checking out just because of the amazingness of its real life events.
