Tom Holland sheds the spidey suit for a serious crime drama, in the upcoming film Cherry, the latest project from the Russo brothers, creators of Marvel’s epic 2019 saga, Avengers: Endgame.

The film, an adaptation of Nico Walker’s 2019 novel, is the coming of age story of a young man who meets the love of his life, only to risk losing her through a series of bad decisions and circumstances. After dropping out of college to become an army medic in the military, he returns home with PTSD and turns to robbing banks to fuel his opioid addiction. Cherry also stars Ciara Bravo (Big Time Rush) and Jack Reynor (Midsommar).  

Cherry is scheduled to arrive in theaters February 26 before debuting worldwide on AppleTV+ on March 12.
