The Exorcist is getting a new sequel. Director Mike Flanagan is helming this horror film which will star Scarlett Johansson as a New York homicide detective pulled into an investigation when a serial killer carves her name into the blood of the victim, an altar boy.

Chiwetel Ejiofor, Diane Lane, Jacobi Jupe, John Leguizamo and Laurence Fishburne also co-star.

The Exorcist: Martyrs is scheduled to hit theaters on March 12, 2027.
