Nicole Kidman is giving her Instagram fans a peek of things to come from the second season of the popular HBO series, “Big Little Lies,” posting a photo from filming on-set with Meryl Streep.

Streep will play the role of the grieving mother-in-law to Kidman’s character Celeste, coming to visit Monterey to check on her grandchildren after the death of her son (Alexander Skarsgård) in season one’s finale. The role marks Streep’s first return to television since 2004’s “Angels in America.”

In addition to their starring roles, Kidman and Reese Witherspoon also serve as co-executive producers on the series, which will also reunite co-stars Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and Zoë Kravitz.

HBO has not yet announced the premiere date for the second season, but it is expected to be sometime in 2019. The series won eight Emmys and four Golden Globes following its successful run in 2017.
