The Reel Review
Loosely based on the Afghanistan experiences of former Chicago Tribune war correspondent Kim Barker, this drama/comedy combo of Tina Fey and journalism should yield a well-written, funny, insightful film, right? Uh… no. Despite a few chuckles, the stunning Margot Robbie, and a touching scene towards the end, the movie is a sloppily-written, slapped together, pointless disappointment.
