The Reel Review
Debra Winger and Tracy Letts star in this quirky romantic comedy about cheating spouses in a loveless marriage, who ironically find themselves cheating on their respective lovers when they unexpectedly rekindle their feelings for each other. It has a cute premise, adequate performances by Winger and Letts, and one particularly poignant, pivotal scene which shows how one moment can change a fragile relationship forever. However, the film is horribly marred by a dull, tortoise-paced story and an astoundingly bizarre, jarring score that makes what could have been a good film feel more like a really boring dinner party consumed by super loud elevator music.
