The Reel Review
This sequel to the popular 2012 Snow White and The Huntsman introduces Emily Blunt as Freya the Ice Queen, little sis to evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron). Despite the criticism of the worthiness of this sequel, which feels like a stale tossed salad of Game of Thrones and Hobbit leftovers, the visuals are well done and the story itself is mindlessly entertaining, with Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as Eric the Huntsman and Jessica Chastain as his fellow warrior and love interest. The absence of Kristen Stewart improves it by a letter grade.
