The Reel Review
An Indian family moves to a picturesque hamlet in the South of France and opens a restaurant featuring their native cuisine, much to the ire of the owner of the town’s famous Michelin starred French restaurant across the street. The predictable palate of culture clashes-turned-friendships and a sugar-sweet ending is softened by stirring performances by a cast led by Helen Mirren and sumptuous cinematography that, like a fine French meal, will slowly pull you in and warm your heart.
