The Reel Review

C

Director Alison Klayman looks at how the amphetamine industry has reached its current $13 billion a year epidemic, tracing the history and effects of stimulants like Adderall and Ritalin as performance enhancers, and how societal pressures to succeed have contributed to the sanctioned abuse of this low dose variation of crystal meth. The film contains excellent, thought-provoking information – unfortunately it would have been even more impactful had it been delivered in a more structured format instead of the haphazard, unfocused data dump reminiscent of someone hopped up on too much Adderall.
