Julia Roberts and Richard Gere star in this now iconic Cinderella story about a prostitute and a wealthy executive who fall in love after spending a magical week together. Ridiculousness of the sweet but far-fetched story aside, Roberts and Gere inject loads of charm into the fairytale, which launched her career into the stratosphere and earned director Garry Marshall (Runaway Bride, Beaches) another heartfelt hit. The score and soundtrack are pretty terrific too.
