The Bellas reunite yet again, this time competing with bands on an exotic overseas USO tour for a chance to open for DJ Khaled on his upcoming world tour. This go ‘round we discover that Beca (Anna Kendrick) is a DJ prodigy (oooh, shocker) and that Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) and Aubrey (Anna Camp) have daddy issues.
When there is singing, the film is mildly fun nostalgia, but when there isn’t, this blatant cash grab of a film is nothing more than phoned-in performances in a really lame, humorless story. Bellas, please – no more sequels.
