When she becomes attracted to the handsome new lawyer at her airline, a workaholic CEO must decide whether to break her own strict rule banning office romance. Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein star in this romantic comedy that Goldstein co-wrote.

Office Romance is EXACTLY the kind of movie you would expect – a corny, contrived and often silly, low stakes rom-com with a predictable ending that you can guess without even watching. What might surprise you, however, is some of the crass humor and one very graphic childbirth scene featuring Betty Gilpin, in a fun comedic turn as the CEO’s right-hand woman, after such serious films as American Primeval and The Hunt.

Despite some not-so-convincing onscreen chemistry, Lopez and Goldstein do well enough carrying the breezy film – let’s face it, cute rom-coms are Lopez’s wheelhouse – and the film does have enough sweet and even funny moments to make it worth watching. Stick around for the hilarious closing credits featuring Tony Hale (Veep) as the airline’s rightfully nervous HR director.
