It is rare that a horror film lives up to the hype of a well-produced trailer, but this film, about a supernatural creature terrorizing a family coping with mental illness, exceeds the hype, thanks to a well-written, fast-paced story, exceptionally strong acting and a boatload of scares, that while familiar in method, are effectively showcased.
