Natalie Dormer stars in this taut thriller about a blind pianist in London caught up in a murder plot involving a Serbian war criminal after she overhears her upstairs neighbor (Emily Ratajkowski) die under suspicious circumstances. The story, written by Dormer and her fiancé Anthony Byrne, who also is its director, reunites her with Game of Thrones castmates Ed Skrein and James Cosmo, who together, deliver a pretty clever, twisty tale, despite Joely Richardson’s distractingly cartoonish villain and a few moments of eye rolling ridiculousness in the final act. Well done visuals, a solid score and fast pacing also help make this a fun thriller worth the ride.
