This post-apocalyptic zombie film borrows heavily from The Walking Dead, 30 Days of Night, I Am Legend and Signs to hobble together a story about a group of survivors eeking out an existence in a remote, snowbound town. Extinction focuses more on character development and less on the monsters (at least until the ending).
