The Reel Review
For diehard fans, the long-awaited big screen debut of the popular British sitcom is a pleasing, expected dish of bawdy jokes, impeccable comic timing by Joanna Lumley and crazy scenarios for the boozy, pill popping pair, Patsy and Edina. And while there are some funny moments, for everyone else, most of the jokes will feel stale, the story trite, and the movie exceptionally underwhelming.
