The 2026 Oscar nominations were just announced from Los Angeles, with Sinners receiving a record 16 nominations, surpassing the previous 14 nomination record shared by three films: All About Eve, Titanic and La La Land. Apparently the Academy has no love for Wicked: For Good, which incredibly was shut out of every single category.

Here are the nominees in each category as well as the snubs in the major categories. The 98th Academy Awards will be hosted for a second consecutive year by Conan O’Brien on Sunday, March 15th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Click on the movie titles in gold for our review:
