2025 Oscar Nominations – The List and The Snubs

The Reelness
The 2025 Oscar nominations were announced Thursday, with Emilia Pérez picking up a whopping 13 nominations – a record for a non-English language film, closely followed by The Brutalist and Wicked with 10 nominations each. The Latvian animated feature Flow, which was #2 on The Reelness’ Top 10 movies of 2024, picked up two nominations for Best Animated Feature and Best International Film, and I’m Still Here star Fernanda Torres became the second Brazilian nominated for Best Actress – the first being her mother Fernanda Montenegro (Central Station) in 1999.
