Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will star in Barbie, the upcoming comedy based on the iconic doll and her boyfriend Ken.

Director Greta Gerwig co-wrote the script for the film with Noah Baumbach. The star-studded cast includes Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, and Ncuti Gatwa.

The trailer introduces Robbie as Barbie in a comic nod to 2001: A Space Odyssey quickly followed by a glimpse into the iconic doll’s psychedelic plastic, pink universe.

Barbie is scheduled to hit theaters July 21, 2023.
