For the first time in history, the 78th Golden Globes later this month will be hosted bicoastally – with Tina Fey in New York and Amy Poehler in Los Angeles.
Tuesday’s announcement, amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, comes less than a month before the annual film and TV awards ceremony.
The re-teaming of Fey and Poehler will mark their fourth time hosting the show, which they hosted in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Nominees are expected to appear from various locations around the globe.
Originally scheduled for January, the Golden Globes will air February 28th from 8-11pm ET on NBC in the United States. Sarah Jessica Parker and Taraji P. Hensen will announce the Golden Globe nominees Wednesday morning.
