The biggest news from Sunday’s 72nd annual Emmy Awards was Pop TV’s Schitt’s Creek, which made Emmy history, sweeping all of the main comedy series categories – winning for best series, best directing, best writing and all four acting categories. It had also won Emmys for costuming and casting last week.

HBO’s Watchmen, which received the most nominations, 26, won best limited series, while HBO’s Succession won best drama series.

Jimmy Kimmel hosted Sunday night’s event which was done virtually and without a live audience, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
