
Black Panther Star Chadwick Boseman, Dead at 43
Chadwick Boseman, who gained famed as the lead role in the Marvel movie Black Panther, has died of colon cancer at the age of 43.
Boseman died at his home in Los Angeles with his wife and children by his side.

Boseman had been battling colon cancer privately since 2016, two years before his big break out role, which he had been expected to reprise in a planned 2022 sequel.

Born in South Carolina and a graduate of Howard University, Boseman came to prominence playing real-life figures – baseball great Jackie Robinson in 2013’s 42, and soul singer James Brown in 2014’s Get on Up.
