Taylor Swift fans are about to get an inside glimpse inside the world of the pop superstar, in the soon to be released Netflix documentary Miss Americana.

Director Lana Wilson (The Departure) debuted the film last week at the Sundance Film Festival. It is billed as a “raw and emotionally revealing look” at a time when Swift embraces her role not only as a singer/songwriter, but as a young woman harnessing the full power of her voice.

The documentary touches on several recent events in Taylor’s life, including the making of her 2019 album Lover, her past battle with an eating disorder, her mother’s cancer diagnosis and her decision to go public about her views on politics.

Miss Americana will premiere in select U.S. theaters and on Netflix January 31st.
