Hallelujah! Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will host next year’s Golden Globes.

Poehler announced the news Saturday at NBC Universal’s Television Critics Association press tour. The duo was was universally praised for their onstage rapport when they hosted the event in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

The announcement comes just days after Ricky Gervais hosted the 2020 Golden Globes for the fifth, and according to him, final time, and on the heels of news that next month’s Oscars will go hostless for its second year in a row.

Their return is expected to bring back a much-needed jolt of fun, positive energy, following Gervais’ widely-criticized stint as host, which was marked by lackluster energy and a slew of mean-spirited comments. When Fey and Poehler began their three year stint as hosts in 2013, it came after Gervais had hosted the annual event for the three prior years.

The date has not yet been set for the 2021 Golden Globes. It will again air on NBC in the United States.
