Amy Adams is channeling some serious Alfred Hitchcock/Rear Window vibes in the new preview for her upcoming, twist-filled, psychological thriller, about an agoraphobic woman, incapable of leaving her apartment, who sees something sinister happen inside her neighbor’s home across the street.

The film from director Joe Wright (Darkest Hourand adapted by actor/screenwriter Tracy Letts (Ford v Ferrari, Lady Bird) from the 2018 best-selling novel, is also sparking comparisons to Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train.

The Woman in the Window also stars Julianne Moore, Gary Oldman and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

The Woman in the Window arrives in theaters on May 15th.
