Remember Disney’s Jungle Cruise? Coming next July, the iconic theme park attraction will be a movie, starring Emily Blunt and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Set in the early 1900s, Blunt stars as a scientist, who, along with her brother (Jack Whitehall), hires a riverboat captain (Johnson) to help them find the Tree of Life, which is believed to possess healing powers.

The trio must navigate a treacherous river and battle wild animals while racing against a competing German expedition. From the looks of the new trailer, the film even pays homage to the cornier aspects of the theme park ride’s earlier years, with its “attacking” natives and animals:

Directed by Jaume Collet Serra (The Shallows, Non-Stop), filming took place this summer in Hawaii.

Jungle Cruise opens July 24, 2020.
