While pretty to look at, this rare Western/horror’s promising premise, about subterranean monsters feasting at night on cowboys and Indians in the Dakotas of 1879, is ruined by lethargic pacing, too few scares and a total dud of an ending. It fails to be a good Western or a good horror film.
