Acclaimed horror director Ari Aster (Hereditary, Midsommar) turns his attention to a Western dark comedy, in his upcoming film, Eddington, starring Pedro Pascal, Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone and Austin Butler.

It is set in 2020 during the COVID pandemic in the fictional town of Eddington, New Mexico, where a standoff between a small-town sheriff (Phoenix) and mayor (Pascal) devolves into chaos, pitting neighbor against neighbor.

Eddington will hit theaters on July 18th.
